Quality & Transparency
HempWorx doesn’t mention where it gets its hemp from aside from claiming that it sources it from American farms. According to reviews posted on the internet, the company gets the hemp from Kentucky, but we couldn’t find any hard evidence to support these claims.
As for the safety of its products, HempWorx has been awarded the U.S. Hemp Authority stamp of approval. However, the company doesn’t publish the lab reports on the product pages. You need to enter the LOT number to find the certificate and check if it matches your product batch.
Lawsuits & Warning Letters
HempWorx hasn’t received any warning letters from the FDA so far, which is a good sign. They may, however, be facing a class-action lawsuit for stating higher amounts of CBD than their products actually contained, as well as for specific health claims regarding cannabidiol.
Customer Feedback
HempWorx is too much MLM-centered in our opinion. The company mostly focuses on encouraging its customers to engage in the referral program, but once they do, HempWorx tries to convince its members to do the advertising for them. That’s probably our biggest caveat with HempWorx.
